DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "3992B" navigation watch with hack feature, 16 size, 22 jewels, stem wind and set, adjusted to 6 positions and temperature, straight line damascened, nickel plate movement with lever escapement, double roller and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a coin silver, screw back and bezel, open face case with Arabic numeral, white enamel dial bearing the British military broad arrow mark, black steel spade and poker hands, serial #3C2299, c1942.
CONDITION: CASE: Dings and pin pricks; Flat spot on band; Scratches on outer surface of case; Ordnance department information worn off of case back; Plastic crystal; Minor scratches on crystal; Bow with dings and flat spots; Precious metal content marked. DIAL: Spider hairline, faint, 9:00. HANDS: Very good. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Crown wheel has spots of oxidation; Ratchet wheel screw, click and click screw with minor oxide; Marred screw heads. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
